Since June 24, 2022 and the historic Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Supreme Court decision, our strategy has shifted from one of calling for a Personhood Amendment (which would proclaim the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death) to a strategy of state-by-state ABOLITION of Abortion.
Our ultimate goal, of course, is the Constitutional Protection of the Unborn, a Personhood Amendment to the Constitution. Indeed SCOTUS gave us nearly the victory we had awaited with the 5-4 Dobbs decision which struck down Roe v. Wade after nearly 50 years! Some activists, indeed many pro-life leaders, thought that this day would never come. We at Pro-Life Mission: International were not only not surprised, we were exhilarated but likewise disappointed. The Supreme Court had righted a great wrong, but also missed a great opportunity: The chance to recognize the Constitutional Personhood of the Unborn!
